Four cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Labette County

(Note: Since this news release was issued Saturday, a fourth case of COVID-19 has been confirmed.)

Labette County officials have confirmed a second and third laboratory confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Labette County.

The 67-year-old female and 49-year-old male are both recovering at home.







To protect the patients' rights to privacy, no other identifying information will be provided. As part of the regular practice of disease investigation, the Labette County Health Department will notify people who have had contact with the patients. Investigation has been initiated for both cases.

The Labette County Health Department strongly recommends that all residents and members of our communities do everything they can to "stay at home and stay safe" by following Gov. Kelly's stay-at-home order, Executive Order 20-16.
