Only two COVID-19 patients were in Freeman Hospital as of the daily briefing this afternoon.
Four people tested positive for the virus, but only one is hospitalized and that one was already in the intensive care unit, suspected of having the coronavirus and the test confirmed it, CEO Paula Baker said.
Freeman has recorded nine positive COVID-19 tests, with only three people having to be hospitalized, Baker said. Of those three, one has already been discharged.
The other six cases did not require hospitalization and most of them have recovered, Baker added.
"Our resources are not strained at all. We are capable of caring or whoever comes through our doors."
Baker encouraged people not to "ignore other health concerns because you're concerned about COVID.
