DGMO Travelers (Division of Global Migration and Quarantine)

Monitoring of nine persons who have returned from high risk areas, which include Iran, China, Ireland, United Kingdom or the Schengen Zone.

These persons must monitor for two weeks upon return to the United States per CDC guidelines.

If a contact lives in another jurisdiction, i. e. Joplin, then we notify that jurisdiction and they will initiate, based on their protocols, a quarantine order and follow-up of the contact(s). We are currently following several persons who were a contact to an Oklahoma resident who worked in Kansas.

Based on symptoms or test results, both quarantine and isolation orders can be extended or reissued on a case by case basis.
