Missouri COVID-19 death toll stands at 133, 4,686 confirmed cases

The death toll for COVID-19 in Missouri stands at 133, according to the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

A total of 4,686 people have contracted the virus, with 34 of those coming from the Joplin area, according to the state statistics- 15 from Jasper County, nine from Newton County, six from the City of Joplin, four from McDonald County and none from Barton County.

Fifty-three deaths have been recorded in St. Louis County, followed by 19 in St. Louis City, 11 in Kansas City, 10 in St. Charles County and seven in Greene County.
