Missouri COVID-19 death toll stands at 152

The death toll for COVID-19 in Missouri stood at 152 as of 2 p.m. today when the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services released statistics.

A total of 5,111 people have contracted the virus.

St. Louis County has recorded 66 deaths, followed by St. Louis City with 20, St. Charles County with 12, Kansas City with 11 and Jackson County with eight.







Greene County has had seven deaths.

Locally, 15 cases have been confirmed in Jasper County (outside of the Joplin city limits), nine in Newton County, seven in Joplin, four in McDonald County and none in Barton County.
