Ten more COVID-19 deaths reported in Missouri, eight in St. Louis County

Ten COVID-19 deaths were reported in Missouri in a 24-hour period with eight of them coming in St. Louis County, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

The deaths brought the state's total to 175, with 80 of them from St. Louis County, 21 from the City of St. Louis, 13 apiece from Kansas City and St. Charles County and eight from Jackson County.

The statistics showed 234 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, with none of those coming from this area, where the totals thus far, according to the state's list are 15 from Jasper County, nine from Newton County, seven from Joplin, four from McDonald County and none from Barton County.
