Thirteen COVID-19 deaths reported in Missouri over 24-hour period, death toll up to 165

Thirteen Missourians died due to COVID-19 over a 24-hour period, according to statistics released this afternoon by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

The death toll stands at 165.

One hundred seventy-two new cases were confirmed during the 24-hour period, increasing the total to 5,283.







No new cases were reported in this area with the totals remaining 15 in Jasper County, nine in Newton County, seven in the city of Joplin, four in McDonald County and none in Barton County.

St. Louis County had seven deaths during the 24-hour period, bringing its total to 72. the City of St. Louis has 20, Kansas City 13, St. Charles County 12 and Jackson County 8.
