Step 1: Joplin Response and Recovery Plan (as of May 4, 2020)

We wanted to provide an update to keep our followers informed of what’s open, what’s not, and the status of upcoming programs.

The most popular question we’re receiving right now is if our aquatic facilities will open this summer.

To be completely honest and transparent, we do not have an answer.

We are evaluating all programs, services, and operating hours currently and are creating plans and scenarios for each and hope to have an answer within the next couple of weeks. 

A lot of factors are involved regarding opening decisions, including staffing. We have to recruit, hire, and train enough lifeguards ensure our facilities are properly staffed and patrons are safe.

In regards to our facilities that are listed at limited capacity, the usage depends on each location. For details about a specific facility, please call our office or send us a message. For our youth soccer league participants, we are in the process of refunding registration fees.
