Judge orders Carl Junction man held without bond on sexual exploitation of a child, child pornography charges

A Carl Junction man will be held without bond in the Greene County Jail while awaiting trial for sexual exploitation of a child and receiving child pornography.

During an arraignment and detention hearing this morning in U. S. District Court in Springfield, Damion Spillman, 27, waived the reading of his indictment and entered a not guilty plea. Judge David P. Rush approved the government's motion to have Spillman held without bond.

A federal grand jury indicted Spillman February 4.
