No new cases of coronavirus were reported in Joplin over the past 24 hours, according to statistics posted this evening on the city's website.
Over the past week, the average has only been slightly more than five per day.
Only six city residents are hospitalized with COVID-19, with Joplin hospitals having 33 total COVID-19 patients.
To date, Joplin has recorded 5,763 cases, including 49 that are still active, and 124 deaths due to COVID-19.
