Liberty Utilities: We're going to shut off your electricity for an hour, but we can't tell you when

(From Liberty Utilities)

We currently have approximately 6,015 customers without power.

As a reminder, as part of the SPP required service interruptions, we will interrupt service in blocks throughout our electric system. We will work to keep the duration of these interruptions down to approximately one hour per block. We will do all we can to minimize the impact.

Because of the rapidly changing nature of this emergency, we will not be able to alert customers individually regarding required service interruptions. We are asking our customers to prepare in advance.

Please know our crews are working around the clock to restore and maintain service during these extreme weather conditions.

OUR ELECTRICAL GRID SYSTEM IS IN DIRE NEED OF FIXING...

TURBINE / SOLAR - - Was just given the Opportunity to Shine - - and guess what - - Rolling Blackouts across the Country - - Where is our PLAN-B...

Granted we are having Extreme Cold Weather - But what about Extreme Hot Weather this Summer - - We are continuing to Build and Build - But we do not have the INFRASTRUCTURE TO SUPPORT IT.

We are Conditioned / Spoiled with the ability of just Flipping a Switch and having immediate use of Electricity - - what if it was Metered - - You get to have an Hour here and Hour there - - could you Survive like that - - or would you Feel like you are Living in a Third World Country - - If we do not Fix it that will be our Plight.
