Judge orders Neosho man held without bond on child pornography, sexual exploitation of a minor charges

A federal court judge ordered a Neosho man held without bond while he awaits trial on charges of sexually exploiting a minor and possession of child pornography.

During a detention hearing today in U. S. District Court in Springfield, Judge David P. Rush cited the nature of the charges, a lack of employment, mental health and a history of failing to show for court appearances in his decision to detain Clinton Anthony Yeats, who is being held in Greene County Jail.

According to the indictment, Yeats, 28, used the internet and cell phones to entice an underage girl into engaging in sexual activity, beginning as early as December 1, 2019 and continuing through May 4, 2020 in Jasper County.
