Partial list of area election results

Webb City R-7 Board of Education

Webb City R-7 voters returned the three incumbents to the Board of Education.

William Roderique topped the vote with 770 votes, followed by David E. Collard with 713 and Jeanne Newby with 603.

Erin Taylor finished fourth with 568 votes.

Marijuana sales tax issues

Every entity that voted on a marijuana sales tax issues passed it and passed it by a wide margin.

Diamond mayor

Amy Thomlinson doubled Jennifer Howard's vote total 86 to 43.







Neosho R-5 passes bond issue

The Neosho R-5 School District passed its bond issue with 1,372 votes or 65 percent to 739.

Carthage R-9 bond issue fails

The Carthage R-9 School District's bond issue to build a performing arts center and a baseball field at the high school failed. The issue received 1,726 yes votes and 1,405 no votes, but needed a larger margin to pass.

Diamond bond issue passes

Diamond R-4 School District bond issue passed with 344 yes votes, 67.9 percent to 163.

Oeltjen wins three-way race for Lamar mayor

Rick Oeltjen was elected Lamar mayor with 249 votes to 215 for Mike Hull and 115 for Eva Roland Buchanan.

Powers win close race for Carl Junction mayor

Mark Powers was elected Carl Junction mayor with 312 votes to 306 for Mike Moss.
