(From Joplin Schools)Congratulations to our 2022-23 Joplin Schools Teacher of the Year: Mrs. Kelly Davis!
Kelly will receive the Fred Laas Teacher of the Year Award from the Joplin Schools Foundation at an upcoming Board of Education meeting.
Kelly is a third grade teacher at McKinley Elementary, where she has enthusiastically served for 19 years. She was nominated for this award by her peers and administrators at the school, who told us Kelly is "the person most everyone goes to for advice about curriculum, technology, and anything else. She pours into others and asks for nothing in return and is always focused on creating strong relationships with students and parents."
