(From Seventh District Congressman Eric Burlison)Last month, more than 300,000 illegal aliens surged across the American border and into our country. This is the highest number ever recorded. And unfortunately, because of the Biden Administration’s catch and release policies, most of the illegal aliens were allowed to remain in the United States.
This crisis is entirely the design of President Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas. Many of us in southwest Missouri have been tracking the crisis for years. We’ve seen this play out dozens of times, and its well past time for Congress to take a stand.
We should not continue to fund a Department of Homeland Security that refuses to secure our border. We cannot allow taxpayer dollars to be used to facilitate an invasion of our country. The Biden Administration intentionally created the crisis, and we must end it.
Instead of deporting the illegal aliens who are entering our country, the Biden administration is rewarding their criminal behavior by allowing most of them to stay. This is unacceptable, and Congress must force them to change. My constituents are with me; either we secure the border and stop the flow of illegal aliens into the country, or we shut down the government.

Eric looks like a wax figure in a museum. Legislates like it too.
Eric the wax figure is so completely inept, he and the rest of the maganuts conflate the border with the budget. So in other words, keeping migrants out of the country saves jobs but Eric is supportive of taking yours if you're a government employee for the sake of riling up the deplorable base to stoke division and reelection. What an asshole.
