The Barton County Prosecuting Attorney filed a felony sodomy charge against a Lamar man who allegedly attacked a drowsy Golden City woman who was under the effect of a sleeping medication Sunday.
According to the probable cause statement, the woman told a Barton County Sheriff's Office deputy Charles D. Kinsey (DOB 1984) groped her and then had anal sex with her.
Kinsey told the deputy During the interview the woman had been rubbing him and he did not know if she was awake or asleep at the time.
Charles stated he did not know if the victim was fully under the influence of her medication and at one point stated he thought he should not go through with it and said his hormones took over.
A warrant was issued for Kinsey's request with bond set at $10,000 cash or surety.
