(From the McDonald County Sheriff's Office)On January 11, 2026, deputies with the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office made contact with a male subject later identified as Robert Inbody in the Jane, Missouri area. During the contact, deputies learned Inbody was wanted on a full U.S. extradition warrant out of the State of Tennessee.
While Inbody was detained pending confirmation of the warrant, deputies conducted a search of a backpack in his possession. The search revealed multiple syringes, drug paraphernalia, and a large zip-top bag containing a white crystal substance. The extradition warrant was confirmed, and Inbody was transported to the McDonald County Jail.
As a result of the investigation, the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office seized approximately 115.7 grams of suspected methamphetamine and 13.9 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms. Inbody remains in custody with pending charges of Trafficking Drugs, 2nd Degree through McDonald County.

Earlier in the month, the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office, in cooperation with the Ozark Drug Enforcement Team (ODET), received information regarding a female subject suspected of selling large quantities of methamphetamine. Investigators began actively working the information.
On January 12, 2026, detectives received information that the suspect, identified as Devin Black, age 45, was returning to her residence with approximately four kilograms of methamphetamine.
On the morning of January 13, 2026, the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office Special Response Team (SRT) was activated to serve a search warrant in the 1500 block of Coopers Road in Powell, Missouri.
As SRT arrived, three individuals were detained outside the residence, while several others fled on foot.
After the residence was secured, deputies conducted an extensive search of the property, utilizing both foot patrols and drones to search the surrounding wooded area.

During the search, a male subject later identified as Dennis Wishon was located hiding in the woods. A backpack found next to Wishon contained multiple gallon-sized bags of a white crystal substance. Additional bags containing a similar substance were also located during the search.
As a result of the operation, Devin Black and Dennis Wishon were arrested with pending charges of Trafficking Drugs, 1st Degree.
In total, the McDonald County Sheriff’s Office seized approximately 3,776 grams (8.32 pounds) of suspected methamphetamine, 22 grams of suspected psilocybin mushrooms, eight unidentified pills, and various items of drug paraphernalia.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
