(From the Crawford County Sheriff's Office)The Crawford County Sheriff's Office, working closely with the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, the Bourbon County Kansas Sheriff's Office the Pittsburg Police Department, and E3 Ranch Foundation conducted an operation on Friday, July 10 targeting individuals that were soliciting minors for sex acts.
This operation resulted in the arrest of Cristobal Fredy Lopez, 42, of Monett, Missouri without incident. Lopez was formally charged today in Crawford County District Court on the following:
- Attempted Aggravating Human Trafficking
- Electronic Solicitation
- Attempted Commercial Sexual Exploitation of a Child
- Unlawful Use of a Communication Facility
Lopez is currently being held, without bond, at the Crawford County Jail and is presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
