McCaskill rallying grass roots volunteers for battle with GOP survivor

(From Sen. Claire McCaskill's campaign)

A grassroots movement > outside money.

That simple equation says everything about our campaign. Even the unlimited spending by anonymous right-wing special interests can't match up against what we'll have: voters talking to fellow voters, face-to-face, across the state.

Our grassroots infrastructure is already in place — hundreds of regular Missourians have come into our volunteer offices in communities across Missouri and are now helping contact their friends and neighbors. Will you join them?

Meeting fellow volunteers is fun, and you'll enjoy talking to your neighbors about something you believe in. Will you sign up to help out in the office in your community?

All three of my potential Republican opponents are campaigning hard. While Republican voters haven't chosen my opponent yet, we already know that whomever they nominate will be so far to the right that they can't see the center.

While I'm fighting to restore fairness to our economy, bring jobs back to Missouri, and hold government and corrupt contractors accountable, all three of my potential challengers are trying to privatize Social Security and Medicare, lower the minimum wage, and eliminate student loans.

Can you imagine if any one of them get elected?

We're not going to beat them by out-shouting their TV ads or the TV ads paid for by anonymous special interest groups. We're going to win by taking our case directly to Missouri voters.

Will you help take our case directly to voters in your community? Join the volunteers in your community already at work in one of the 20 campaign offices we're opening:

This is going to be a race to the finish line, but I know if you are working alongside me, we'll come out ahead this fall.

Thanks for your support.
