McNary: We have 18 months to fight Obamacare

(From Republican state treasurer candidate Cole McNary)

Today’s Supreme Court ruling 5-4 to uphold the constitutionality of Obamacare places the fate of government-imposed universal healthcare directly on voters.  In the upcoming election, the 71% of Missourians who opposed government-mandated health coverage can fight back and elect leaders who will represent the will of the people.

“With the court ruling that Obamacare is in fact a tax, we have a duty to reject that burden with our choices in the next election.  This ruling delivers a potentially fatal blow to our overall economy and more importantly our freedom by imposing a tax burden that will extinguish any hope of recovery,” said Cole McNary, candidate for state treasurer.

The core of Obamacare will be implemented in 2014, leaving Missourian’s 18 months to preserve the sovereignty of our state and fight against the largest tax increase on the middle class in the history of our country.
