Akin camp: McCaskill = More big government; Akin = more jobs and more freedom

(From the Todd Akin campaign)

Tonight the Akin campaign released the following statement after the debate between Claire McCaskill and Todd Akin.

"The debate tonight showed the clear choice between liberal Claire McCaskill and the common-sense Todd Akin," said Rick Tyler, senior advisor to the campaign. "The Obama/McCaskill record is one of big government solutions that have led to higher unemployment, higher debt, and higher taxes. Missouri, and our nation, can't afford another four years of Obama and six years of McCaskill. Akin made the choice completely clear tonight: do Missourians want more failed big government policies or do Missourians want more jobs, more economic growth and more freedom? Akin clearly had the upper hand tonight, while McCaskill talked process and insider details. Missourians won't vote for Obama to be re-elected and they shouldn't vote for Claire McCaskill to be re-elected either. Her record is simply one of big government failures."
