Globe offers timeline on Rowan Ford murder

In today's Joplin Globe, reporter Debbie Robinson offers a timeline on the death of nine-year-old Rowan Ford of Stella.
Included in the article:
-Both of the accused killers, Rowan's stepfather David Spears, 24, and Chris Collings, 32, admitted to authorities that they committed the murder.
-Cadaver dogs hit on Spears' mother's car, which he borrowed when he went to look for his stepdaughter.
-Information is provided about the third man, referred to only as "Nathan," who was with Spears that night:

During the search for Rowan, Copeland said, David Spears rode around with another man.

“He (Spears) was pointing out to this man where would be good places to put a body,” Copeland said.

One of those places was the sinkhole in McDonald County where the girl’s body ultimately was found, the sheriff said.

Does anyone know if this Step"grandma" will be charged with anything? Say, accessory after the fact! I don't know about you, but if my grown son called me at 1:00 am asking for my car, as a mother, I would question his motives. Why did she just sit there for 5 hours and do nothing?! This is staggering. What wonderful TV shows are on the air between 1:30am and 6:00 am? I am just curious as to what was so interesting that she couldn't bring herself to look in on Rowan! what is this world coming to???

Always,
Karrie
