Jackson/Valliere team looks sharp

Toni Valliere hasn't officially assumed her new duties as Jim Jackson's co-anchor on the 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts, but she sure looked at home filling in for Tiffany Alaniz tonight. Her delivery was flawless and she had excellent rapport with the veteran Jackson.
Considering that most KSN viewers are aware of Ms. Valliere from her work as a reporter and morning anchor, the transition should be smooth, and working alongside Jackson definitely helps. His calm reassuring manner has helped steer KSN through some lean times.
Ms. Valliere will be missed on the morning program, but I am betting she is looking forward to her new work hours.

Valliere seems pretty good. I hope it sticks. She's got the giant tv-girl fake smile down pat - tidy bowl white and nearly the bumper guard of Tiffany. It's nice to hear words pronounced without the Tiffany nasal twang and faux "Mingo-valley-girl" whine and, "like totally" dropped syllables at the end of a sentence. Tiffany does, however, have a nice pair of Alanez.

It doesn't matter who you sit next to Jim Jackson. The poor ethical judgements of the people who work there can not be made better just because you get a good looking woman with a new haircut. When your main anchor is the emcee of the annual Republican Lincoln Days celebration, nothing he says can ever be judged in the same light. He should be suspended or at the very least, removed from the anchor desk. How can the management allow that kind of breech of ethics?
