In an interview with KZRG, Rep. Charlie Davis, R-Webb City, explains why he disagrees with Gov. Jay Nixon's decision to veto HB 436, which would have made it a crime to enforce any federal gun laws in the state of Missouri:
"Anybody who knows anything about government should know the federal government is not supreme over the state. We created the government, they didn't create us. That's a coward's excuse for not signing."
Davis also told the radio station he expects the legislature will override the governor's veto.
