Arraignment set for Carthage R-9 Board member on DWI charge

An 8:30 a.m. May 28 arraignment has been scheduled in Newton County Circuit Court for Carthage R-9 Board of Education member Dr. Mark Westhoff on three misdemeanor charges, including driving while intoxicated.

Online court records indicate Westhoff, 56, posted $1,000 bond after being arrested March 9 by a Missouri Highway Patrol trooper and being charged with DWI, failure to drive on the right side of the road, and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
