Joplin Globe School Board forum closed to public, Joplin City Council forum will be open

When reporters from the Joplin Globe and KOAM question seven Joplin R-8 Board of Education candidates at 7 p.m. tonight, the public will be able to see the forum on Missouri Southern's television station, but not in person.

Next week, when the Globe holds its forum with Joplin City Council candidates, the public will be able to attend in person or watch on KGCS.

Anyone care to speculate on why the Globe is operating its forums in this manner?

Gee, could it be so the pro-Rohr people can be a presence and the anti-Huff people can't? It won't help them, though, as more and more people are reading this blog to get the facts. They'll never get them from the Globe if Carol Stark is in charge.

Because the Globe hopes that pro-rohr goofballs like mik and anson will show up and disrupt the Council Forum. Another thinly veiled attempt by carol stark to engineer the election results.

And the globe doesn't want ant anti-Huff protestors to be heard.

The globe should have to register as a paid lobbyist.

The media is the most powerful entity on this earth. They have the power to make the innocent guilty and the guilty innocent, and thats power. Because they control the minds of the masses.

We need a whole new change in this town!
