This morning on KODE's Good Morning Four States, Shannon Bruffett interviewed local author Cheryle Finley, one of five, including me, who will be at Always Buying Books, 5357 N. Main from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. this Saturday for a book signing on the last day of Wordstock.
Finley will have copies of her book, The Best of Cheryle Cookbook."
I will have the first official signing for Let Teachers Teach, and copies of No Child Left Alive, 5:41: Stories from the Joplin Tornado, Spirit of Hope, Scars from the Tornado: One Year at Joplin East Middle School, and Small Town News will also be available.
Other authors scheduled to be there are Larry Wood, author of Wicked Joplin and Ozark Gunfights and Other Notorious Incidents, Helen Hunter, author of Echos of School Bells, a history of Jasper County schools, and Michele Newton Hansford, author of Images of America.
Owner Bob Wolfe is also having a buy one book, get one of equal price free sale, which applies to nearly all books, other than those being offered by the authors featured in the book signing.
Hope to see you there.

Finley is unoriginal as they come wonder if she will give credit to people she got the recipes from
