Billy Long on Obamacare vote: I worked the will of Southwest Missourians

(From Seventh District Congressman Billy Long)

U.S. Rep. Billy Long issued the following statement after the House passed legislation repealing Obamacare:

"Nearly every day, I hear from constituents with skyrocketing premiums and deductibles, with reduced work hours or who have had to take the tax penalty because the price does not fit the family budget. They are testaments to how theAffordable Care Act is anything but 'affordable'.

"Today, I again worked the will of Southwest Missourians with a vote to repeal Obamacare. My House colleagues and I will work on patient-centered health care reform without onerous taxes that hinder economic growth and freedom-eroding mandates on the American people."

Sent Billy boy a message asking him not to mess up my adult sons' excellent health coverage they purchased when the Affordable Care Act became a reality.

You think he listens to the minority of people in his district that DIDN'T vote for him? He doesn't speak for us...and for the many people that have had life-altering positive experiences now that they have affordable and decent health insurance.

Thank you for keeping us informed as to what the Repubs in elected office keep saying we want and need, Randy. At least I can voice my opposition and let them know I'm not in agreement.

How does this lying dog even sleep at night? Affordable Care Act is giving people that normally didn't have insurance an acceptable alternative. What kind of plan do the republicans have? NOTHING! Come up with an alternative plan Billy boy. And if you can't, then leave it alone.
