Copies of nearly all of my books will be available when I return to Always Buying Books, 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, February 21, for a signing.
That is expected to be when the preview pages of my new book, Silver Lining in a Funnel Cloud: How Greed and Corruption Destroyed the Joplin Tornado Recovery, are available, so anyone buying a book or a subscription to the Turner Report that day (or before then) will receive an advance look at the first 50 pages of the book. I will also take advance orders for signed copies of the new book.
My other books on the Joplin Tornado, 5:41 and Spirit of Hope, both written with John Hacker, and Scars from the Tornado: One Year at East Middle School, will also be available, as will my novels No Child Left Alive and Small Town News, and my earlier non-fiction books The Turner Report and Newspaper Days.
For those wanting to subscribe and receive the free preview, you can do so by taking the $30 one-year option below and help the Turner Report, Inside Joplin, and Inside Joplin Obituaries continue to grow bigger and better.
Those wishing to donate $50 or more at the bottom button, will be paying for the subscription, the preview, and a signed copy of the paperback when it arrives. (The expected publication date is two to three weeks after the public release of the City of Joplin's state audit.)
Subscriptions or donations can also be mailed to 2306 E. 8th, Apt. G, Joplin, MO 64801.
