Symptomatic COVID-19 case visited Silver Dollar City the day it reopened

A potential COVID-19 exposure reported by Taney County officials visited Silver Dollar City Monday, the first day the tourist site has been open since delaying its seasonal opening due to the pandemic.

A news release issued by the Taney County Health Department Thursday said the visitor was symptomatic, though masked, when he or she came to the tourist attraction and was there between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., but did not wear a mask when visiting Panera at 10 a.m.
