Carthage man charged with kidnapping, beating, strangling girlfriend bound over for trial

A Carthage man charged with kidnapping, assault and resisting arrest was bound over for trial following a preliminary hearing this morning in Jasper County Circuit Court.

Joshua Cotton Buzzard (DOB 2000) will be arraigned in Division II 1:30 p.m. November 29.

Buzzard allegedly beat his girlfriend, strangled her and refused to let her leave home September 12 and 13.
