The initial appearance of a Joplin woman on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Monday before Judge John Nicholas in Jasper County Circuit Court.
According to the probable cause statement, the meth was found on Devin Marie Holden (DOB 1988) when she was taken to the Joplin City Jail for outstanding warrants following a traffic stop.
Holden told a Joplin police officer she "was using it at the time to cope with the stressful times she was having in her life."
Holden is free after posting, $3,000 bond.
