The indictment of a Noel man who was still on probation for child pornography crimes was unsealed today in U. S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri.
Edward Sterling Hetherington, 64, is charged with two counts of receiving bestiality pornography from 2020 to 2023, one count of failing to register as a sex offender in McDonald County and one count of violating sex offender registration conditions by not reporting e-mail and instant messenging addresses.
Hetherington was ordered held without bond during his initial appearance this morning at U. S. District Court in Springfield.
When Hetherington was sentenced by U. S. District Judge Beth Phillips to eight years and one month in prison in 2015, a news release from the U. S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri said he had "a massive library of child pornography."
Hetherington pleaded guilty on August 12, 2014. His criminal conduct took place over a period of 25 years, during which time he collected more than 100,000 images of sexual violence against children.

And all the hubbub of immigrants and their contributions to a decaying Mcdonald county and especially Noel. I'm really wanting you deplorable white supremist down there to explain how this individual, the abomination that he is and being like yourselves, can be accepted in your community as a normal resident of Noel and Mac county?
