The Jasper County Prosecuting Attorney's office filed three possession of child pornography charges against a Webb City man today.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested Charles Blake Tyler (DOB 1977) Tuesday after an investigation in October involving distribution of child pornography led to the execution of a search warrant at Tyler's home.
From the probable cause statement:
Tyler admitted to downloading and viewing child pornography using his computer. During an on scene exam of the computer, I saw where files were actively being downloaded when we were there. Hundreds of files which appear to be child pornography files were located on Tyler's computer.Among the files Tyler downloaded, the probable cause statement indicated, were depictions of sex acts involving children ranging in age from 2 to 7.
Tyler's bond was set $50,000 cash only with the stipulation that he be placed under house arrest, wear an ankle monitor and have no access to the internet.
