(From the City of Lamar)This morning, while mowing, park staff noticed a section of Honey Creek contained black standing water. Several dead fish were also found.
At this time, the source of the contamination is not known. MoDNR has been contacted to help make determinations and remediation. We ask that people stay away from the water and not remove the fish.
