Brownback to attend Midwest Republican Leadership Conference in KC

The Missouri Republican Party Announced Wednesday, Kansas Governor Sam Brownback will attend the Midwest Republican Leadership Conference (MRLC).
 Martin continued, “Time and time again, Governor Brownback has led with action and not rhetoric. He is a true government reformer.”
 Born near Parker, Kansas in 1956, Sam Brownback worked on his parent’s farm growing up.
 Brownback earned his undergraduate degree from Kansas State University and a law degree from the University of Kansas. Upon finishing school Brownback was named Secretary of Agriculture, the youngest in Kansas history.
 Brownback won election to Congress in 1994 and won election the US Senate upon the retirement of Senator Bob Dole in 1996. In 2010, Brownback kept a campaign promise and retired from the US Senate.
 That same year he ran and won election as the 46th Kansas Governor. He has dedicated his tenure as governor to growing the Jayhawk economy through spending controls and lower taxes.
 MRLC will be held from September 13-15, at the Westin Kansas City at Crown Center. MRLC will offer Midwestern Republicans the opportunity to hear and learn from leaders from both the Midwest region and surrounding areas. Please visitwww.midwestrepublicans.org for more information.
