Joplin High School students claim awards at annual Missouri Southern Media Showcase

Joplin High School TV Production students won 15 awards at the annual Missouri Southern Media Showcase this week, competing against several area high schools. attended the Missouri Southern Media Showcase and did very well winning 15 awards.
JHS placed a winner in every category and swept the "Music Video" category and the "PSA/Comemercial" category.

The winners were:

Comedy/Drama
Honorable Mention - Dominic Box - "Escaping ISD"
Honorable Mention - Craig Gilmore -"Random Acts of Confusion"
2nd Place - Alisha Culbertson, Cory Rector, Evan Younker - " Night Stalker"

News Format
3rd Place: Alisha Culbertson - "Eagle Time"

Newscast
Honorable Mention: Jimmy Zerkel, Lauren Copple, Tim Pendergraft, John Butler, Chelsea Long
