Rep. Marilyn Ruestman, R-Joplin, received $1,000 from political action committees formed by retired billionaire Rex Sinquefield, according to documents filed today with the Missouri Ethics Commission.
In addition to those contributions, Mrs. Ruestman received maximum $325 contributions from AGC of St. Louis, Missouri Medical PAC, Jefferson City; and Grass Roots for Hunter.
In all, Mrs. Ruestman received $2,725 in contributions.
Among her $10,682.38 in expenditures were $1,525 to the 131st Legislative District Committee, $3,100 to the 127th Legislative District Committee, $1,225 to the 126th Legislative District Committee, $500 to Kenny Hulshof, $500 to Jasper County Public Administrator Rita Hunter, and $325 to Newton County Sheriff Ken Copeland.
Mrs. Ruestman had $72,274.57 at the end of the second quarter.

By looking at her report, it looks like she only received $1000 from Sinquefield PACs.
You are correct. I misread it as four $325 contributions instead of three $325 contributions and one for $25. I will make the change. Thanks for pointing this out. My math would have been wrong even if it had been four $325 contributions, since that would have added up to $1,300, not $1,200
