A free barbecue to kick off the newly-formed East Newton Charitable Foundation will be held 5:30 p.. Saturday, May 30, in the west parking lot at East Newton High School.
Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Our band, Natural Disaster, will open the entertainment at 6:30 p.m., followed by Dewayne Bowman at 7:30 p.m.
Donations to the foundation will be accepted.
The Foundation will provide money to help the entire East Newton School District. The event is open to East Newton patrons and alumni.
