Dustin Latimer's two-part series on Speaker of the House Ron Richard, has featured some revealing quotes.
In the first part of the series, which aired Monday on KODE, Richard discussed with Latimer the power he has as Speaker of the House. "I like that I have the final word on everything," Richard said.
"That's why I am here."
Richard doesn't appear to have too much regard for his predecessor in the speaker's position, Rod Jetton, R-Marble Hill. "It's about time someone with common sense around this place has a little bit of power and can start and stop things," Richard said.
