Sommer: Goods made in Missouri should not be subject to federal law

The latest salvo in Missouri Republicans' open rebellion against the federal government was fired today when Rep. Chrissy Sommer, R-St. Charles, filed HB 181, referred to as the Intrastate Commerce Act.

Under Rep. Sommer's bill, the federal government would have no control over any goods made and kept in the state of Missouri.

I would love to see what would happen if Missouri's legislators would actually file some bills that could do some good for Missourians, instead of continuing to push their 10th Amendment/state sovereignty time-wasters.
