The protest is scheduled for 12 noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, at the State Capitol.
I would suggest that those who plan to attend from this area, practice social distancing on the way to Jefferson City. Don't carpool and if you take a group in different cars, keep your vehicles at least six feet apart and be careful when braking.
The rally is being promoted both on a Facebook event page and on a Facebook page called "End the Stay- Gov. Parson."
Among the comments on that page:
The only way this will end is for us to take action. if you own a business, open it, call in your employees and sell your service or product. if you are already open, but are limited on what you can sell, take down the caution tape and sell what you want. if you are already working, support these business's with your patronage, and stand with them physically against any government action to punish them. always remember, WE OUTNUMBER THEM.

This madness must stop IMMEDIATELY and at all costs. This over reaction will do far more damage than the virus. I think something stinks about this whole deal anyway. Not saying there is no virus, but it is being up played and exploited at the people's expense for some political game. These damn politicians realy need to be put in their place. All of this wanting to open us back up NOW is because we haven't experienced COVID-19 like other states have. We don't have the visitors that those states have and we have been doing a good job at flattening the curve by following the stay at home rules. Why in the world would anyone want to risk the health of your loved ones by opening up the state before we know that the virus has retracted?
