During an interview today with Missourinet, Sen. Josh Hawley, R-MO, said he had urged President Trump to veto any relief package that does not include direct payments to Americans.
Hawley and Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, introduced a bill today that called for a repeat of the $1,200 payments to individuals, $2,400 to couples and $500 for each child that American received under the initial stimulus package.
"I don't know why the Senate would want to spend hundreds of billions of dollars in money for big government and for big business, but we give nothing to families and working individuals.

Josh doesn't do clueless very well.
Republican silver spooner Senator Josh Hawley wants people to think he cares?
Look at where Josh is coming from:
"Hawley holds degrees in history and law from Stanford University and Yale Law School, respectively. Before becoming Attorney General of Missouri, he was an associate professor at the University of Missouri Law School and worked as an appellate litigator. " https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josh_Hawley
Upton Sinclair had republicant turds like Josh covered with this quote:
“It is difficult to get a man to understand something, when his salary depends on his not understanding it.”
"I don't know why the Senate would want to spend hundreds of billions of dollars in money for big government and for big business, but we give nothing to families and working individuals."
BECAUSE REPUBLICANS DON'T CARE?
MITCH MCCONNELL DOESN'T CARE?
gmafb!
Republican hypocrites defend Donald Trump’s right to “every legal recourse,” no matter how frivolous, but they want to take away Americans’ right to sue if their employer gives them COVID.
