Groundbreaking held for Neosho Middle School storm shelter

Thursday was an exciting day as we broke ground on the third storm shelter project thanks to the passing of The Next Step ballot measure this past June!

The storm shelter located at Neosho Middle School will double as a multipurpose learning and training space.

Construction is expected to begin in January and be completed by August.

Thank you to the Neosho Community for making this possible! To stay up to date with progress on The Next Step projects, click the link below.

(Special thanks to Branco Enterprises, Inc and Vaughn Dirtworks for their help with today's setup and heavy machinery!

Another Branco fiasco of flat roofed and leaking structure. Good thing they get money from "votes bought and paid for by federal government". Speaking of new buildings, has anyone seen the ugliest school in the world in Goodman. Arkansas builds schools with pitched roofs, but not around in Missouri. Too bad they still use the same people to design schools from the 50's
