The Newton County Health Department confirmed 20 new COVID-19 cases, according to statistics posted this evening on the department's Facebook page. The county's total is 3,713.
The number of people who are hospitalized remained at 25, while the number in isolation stands at 345, compared to 377 the previous day.
Newton County has recorded 61 deaths due to COVID-19.
The statistics do not include the portion of Newton County that is located in the Joplin city limits.
