Joplin Health Department reports 72nd COVID-19 death, city passes 4,000 cases


The Joplin Health Department reported the city's 72nd COVID-19 death. The victim was a 73-year-old man.

The death was reported on the same day, the city recorded its 4,000th COVID-19 case, one of 46 confirmed cases today bringing the count to 4,013.

Of those cases, 297 are active, according to the city's COVID-19 dashboard.
