Deaton suggests new electors should be certified in six states that supported Joe Biden

In the Turner Report post in which I wrote about HR 2, sponsored by Rep. Justin Hill, R-Lake St. Louis, which seeks to interfere with the presidential election results in six states alleging fraud, I noted that co-sponsors from this area of the state included Ben Baker, R-Neosho, Cody Smith, R-Carthage, and Ann Kelley, R-Lamar.

Apparently, I overlooked Rep. Dirk Deaton, R-Noel, who not only is a co-sponsor but issued a news release proudly noting that he was the first co-sponsor.

The news release is printed below:

State Rep. Dirk Deaton has become the first co-sponsor of a resolution stating that the Missouri House of Representatives questions the reported Presidential election results by the states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

"Missourians have demanded election security for many years. The citizens of our state know that there must be confidence in the integrity of our elections," Deaton, R-Noel, said.

"These state legislatures should immediately call themselves into special session to seek the truth relating to these allegations and investigate claims of voter fraud and, if necessary, use their power under Article II of the U. S. Constitution to certify new electors."
