A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

No matter that a significant part of the modern day militia are well medicated, as those words does not appear in the text!

First they take away the crazy people's guns.

Then they take away the guns from the felons and wife beaters.

Then the schoolkids can't bring their guns to school anymore, not even if they leave them in their cars and trucks.

Pretty soon there won't be much of a militia.
