The script was written by Randy Turner and the pageant was presented by Lamar Community Betterment.

So the only Lamar news you will report is one your name is mentioned in?

Apparently, you haven't been paying attention to my blogs. A number of Lamar court cases have been featured in the Turner Report, in the past couple of months, along with a remembrance of longtime Lamar resident Dorothy Parks.

The Inside Joplin blog regularly features Barton County Marriage Licenses and Lamar Police Department's weekly report, and has had stories on Lamarstreet closings, city council agenda, traffic accidents, blood drives, etc.

Inside Joplin Obituaries features more obituaries of people who lived or once lived in Lamar, or who had relatives in Lamar than any other source.

I have written two books about Lamar history and two other books that included remembrances of Lamar residents who have passed on.

So please save your cheap shots until such time as they are accurate.
