The sentencing of Amy Kay Thomas, 40, who pleaded guilty April 27 to her role in the kidnapping conspiracy that led to the murder of Michael James Hall, Joplin, July 28, 2020 has been rescheduled.
The sentencing hearing, which was originally scheduled for today, will be held 9:30 a.m. April 18 in Springfield, according to the U. S. District Court docket. Judge Douglas Harpool will preside.
This is the second time, Thomas' sentencing has been rescheduled. The first sentencing date, January 4, was scrapped when Thomas' attorney said he needed more time to prepare materials for the sentencing.

Hope she has been locked up this whole time, it's probably not safe to have her out among the general public.
She is evil. She showed no mercy to that man. The court should show her no mercy. Everyone involved in this man's kidnapping, torture and murder should be locked up for the rest of their natural life.
She Deserves the Death Penalty, but since we have to be so PC (Political Correct) in our Country and not offend anyone, and I mean anyone - and we forget about the Victims - her minimum sentence should be Life without Parole or any chance of Parole.

The majority of republican voters surveyed would vote for a convicted felon, and a plurality would vote for a convicted felon who is serving time on election day.

27 of Top 30 Crime-Ridden Cities Run by Democrats
A new report shows that Democrat policies in cities and counties are responsible for rising crime rates in “their otherwise red states.”
The Heritage Foundation today released a 19-page report titled “The Blue City Murder Problem” that includes analysis on crime data and explores who is responsible for rising crime throughout the U.S. (The Daily Signal is Heritage’s multimedia news organization.)
As of June 2022, the top three cities with the highest homicide rates include Chicago, with 304 homicides; Philadelphia, with 240 homicides; and New York, with 197 homicides, the report said.
The report also highlighted that 27 of the top 30 cities with the highest murder rates as of June 2022 were run by Democratic mayors, except for Lexington, Kentucky, and Jacksonville, Florida, which are run by Republican mayors, and Las Vegas, which has an independent mayor.
